Adam & Miranda

An almost New Year's Wedding...what a great way to ring in the new year!! Forever Adam and Miranda will celebrate their anniversary on January 2. It should be an easy date for them to remember. ;-)

Adam & Miranda's wedding was great. As I was going through their photos again tonight to pick out ones to show you lovely people, I was reminded how much fun everyone had on their wedding day...including me!! So much laughter...families and friends that really had an amazing time hanging out together.

Adam and Miranda planned their winter Illinois wedding from sunny Florida and they did a wonderful job. Everything was perfect. Snowflakes, lilies, pearls, high fives, laughs, happy tears, cool old cars, Beauty & the Beast winter capes, sorority sisters, white boots, fake mustaches, GREAT bridesmaid speech...just a few of the words that come to mind when I think about the Hoover-Kerr wedding celebration!!

The Wood's

Heather Wood is my bestest friend from grade school in good ol' Carthage, Illinois. I was back in the old stompin' grounds and Heather asked me to take photos of her family. Of COURSE I couldn't say no!!! ;-)

I had so much fun with Heather, Steve, Hannah, Halee, Hayden, and Hattie (try and say that 3 times fast!!). I'm sorry Steve, I don't mean to leave you out, but the girls look SO much like their mother!! It reminds me of back when we were 9. ;-) That's a little older than your girls', I know, Heather, but that's when we met!!

Hannah and Halee have stolen my heart everytime I've seen them...which sadly, has NOT been often enough. They are SO much fun, and I love them dearly. It just about broke my heart when it came time for me to leave and Halee started crying. I can't wait until I make it back up there and can spend some more quality time with them all.

Hannah and Halee...don't forget our deal!! We get to have ourselves a tea party (I'll bring the teacups and teapots if you want me too), and your mom and I get to go out by ourselves for a little bit for coffee (or ice cream since you so quickly pointed out that your mommy doesn't like coffee :-)).

I can't wait to see you guys again!

AJ & Sammy

I think I've mentioned this before, but one of my favorite things about taking photos of kids is the fact that I often get to watch them grow up through the photos I take. This is the second year I've photographed AJ & Sammy. They are both at such FUN ages...and ages in which there is a lot of change in one year.

AJ and Sammy were great. It was a chilly day, but they hung in there like champs!!! We got a few little red noses and inadvertent tearing from the wind blowing, but I had so much fun hanging out with them.

I hope I get the opportunity to see how they've changed in another year!!!
