Travis & Angie

Once again, I've been so crazy busy, I've been neglecting my blogging world. I'm hoping that I will get more time to fill you all in more and more. Before I start on Travis and Angie...just a quick note: I am moving!! Chicago, good bye, and Nashville, TN here I come!! Not sure what that will mean for photography, but as it's a portable profession, I'm hoping that it will just even get better!! ;-) So, if you know anyone in Nashville, or if you're from Nashville, let them know I'm moving to town!!

Travis and Angie got married in Keokuk, Iowa on June 21. If you were watching any of the midwest news a month ago, you'll remember that's when all the flooding was happening. Their wedding was right around the time of the Mississippi River cresting in Keokuk. The wedding was a blast!! Travis and Angie have been together since early high school and it was fun to see all the photos of their years together. The day was beautiful, the bride was stunning, and the groom was charming...can't ask for much more!! Enjoy a couple of the pics:

The Reist Family

What a fun family!! We met at the Morton Arboretum for some family photos, and the weather worked out for us and we had a great day. Considering the freezing cold temps we've been experiencing lately in Chicago, this was nothing short of a miracle. I had a blast. The family was so laid back and easy to work with. I can't wait for Lauren's wedding in June!!

Simple. Elegant. Fun. Brian and Judy Zehr had a gorgeous wedding...it was one of the most "personalized" weddings I've been to in a long time. They did it the way THEY wanted it. It was unique, beautiful, and perfect!

Mulder Wedding

What a fun, gorgeous day. Gorgeous bride, handsome groom, "love was in the air," as they say. Josh and Rachel were so cute and seemed to have such a good time on their wedding day. Just a taste for you of the pics...more to come!!!

Megan and Ethan Corrado got married on April 19 at Naper Settlement in Naperville, IL. Megan was a classic beauty, Ethan was enthralled with his bride and the weather even cooperated with us to get some shots outside at the Naperville Riverwalk! Enjoy a few of the shots...

Family often makes great subjects...

I am biased, I know, but my cousins have some CUTE kids!! I love photographing them every time we are together. It's fun to go back through my photos and see how they've changed...especially since I'm lucky to see them more than twice a year these days!! It's also interesting to see which kids end up in the most photos ... the stages they go through and their personalities kind-of dictate if they want to have their photo taken each time around.
