David & Amanda

David and Amanda are getting married in December, and I had the pleasure of taking their engagement photos in September.  We had a blast.  They are so much fun!!  I definitely canNOT wait until their wedding.

David and I go way back - in college, I visited England with some friends of mine and we stayed with the Foust's for about a week.  David was probably about 13 then!!  Time sure flies.

A few months ago David brought Amanda to visit Nashville and I got to meet her.  She is an absolute doll and perfect for David!!  They are fun, adventurous, spontaneous, and a very good match for each other.

Mitchell & Victoria

Mitchell is actually one of the first people I met after coming down here to Nashville.  He is one awesome guy...he's hilarious, gregarious, impulsive, caring, fun, a "Renaissance Man," quirky, and creative.  I totally enjoy anytime I get to spend anytime with him!

Recently he got engaged to the beautiful Victoria.  I have only met her a few times, but she seems to be the perfect complement to Mitchell.  She is super sweet, kind, and caring.  She is also a bit goofy, and I think she evens out Mitchell's rough edges!  ;-)

Also involved in the whole process was the precious Kylar.  She is Mitchell's daughter and she is a JOY!!  Such a fun age, too.  We had a blast running around all day.

I was lucky enough to get to photograph their engagement portraits.  I had an absolute riot, and I really can't wait to do it again!

Ann, Miguel, y Lobo

This blog post is gonna be a little different than my other posts...it's actually one of the sadder posts, I've written...but we'll start with the happy part.

I had a friend from college, Ann Milauskas.  This girl is pretty amazing.  She was one of the sweetest people from my ol' WIU days.  She is also one of the most incredible women I know.  She spent 4 years ministering in Yemen.  While in Yemen, she met Miguel Bermudez.  He was also in Yemen as a missionary.  In a nutshell and the fairytale fashion, they met, fell in love, and got married just 6 months ago.

About a month or two ago, they moved to Nashville.  (which I'm THRILLED about, btw!!)  They stayed at my house for a couple of days while they figured out their living situation.  I got to watch their dog, Lobo, while they were checking out their apartment.  Lobo is 12 and Miguel has had him since he was a very small puppy.  He was moving pretty slow while I got to watch him, but he was such a sweetheart.

Ann called me and wanted to surprise Miguel with family pics for his bday.  So, I went and took pics of the two of them and Lobo.  Lobo was a totally different dog from when they first arrived in Nashville...he was almost like a puppy.  He was such a rambuntious dog...it was awesome!!

Now for the sad part.  I saw Ann a week ago and she shared with me that Lobo had died.  I couldn't believe it.  I'm so happy that I was able to take pics of Ann, Miguel, and Lobo before that happened.  I hope that Miguel and Ann are able to enjoy the pics as much as I have.

Julia and John

Back in the day, Julia was one of employees at the GLC. I don't know if I could've done what I did without her at the time. I was so thrilled to be able to meet her boyfriend, John.

They were so sweet and cute. I really had fun with them. They were always ready to laugh...and that makes my job easy!!! They quite amazed me with their ability to stare into each other's eyes for long periods of time without blinking...or blushing!!! ;-)
