Why I love Colorado...

There are so many reasons why I love Colorado!!!

First of all, my parents live there.
Secondly, I was born there.
Thirdly, it is simply amazing.

Maybe you can see a bit why I love it so much...

Random thoughts....

I just finished reading Donald Miller's book, A Million Miles in A Thousand Years. First of all, it's an amazing book, and if you haven't, you should totally read it. Actually, I think that you should read it 3-4 times a year!! ;-)

It's all about story. It's about life being a story, and if you don't do something about it, your life will be a boring story. It's up to you to make it interesting, worthwhile, epic.

So I came out of that book with several thoughts. One, I don't want my life to be boring, I want it to be a GREAT story. Secondly, one of the reasons I love photography is that I get to be a part of a moment in someone's story, AND I get to freeze that moment in that someone's story so they can always look back and remember it.

Here are just a very few of my favorite story moments that I've had the honor and pleasure to capture:

Andrew and Paulina

Andrew and Paulina were so much fun!!! It was a chilly day in November in northern Indiana...and despite some timing issues, these two kept their cool all day and were such a pleasure to work with.

Paulina's family is Polish, and let me tell you...a Polish reception is like none I've ever been to. I've never seen so many people of all ages out on the dance floor!! Everyone had a blast, which meant it was easy for me to have a blast as well.

Andrew and Paulina are a very, very sweet couple. They are so cute together...they are a true example of the teamwork that marriage is all about!!

Bathtime

One of my bestest friends came down last week to hang out. She brought her daughter, Clara, and we had a blast. She is one of the sweetest, cutest little things around. AND, her middle name is Anne, spelled-with-an-E, like Anne of Green Gables, so we're bound to be kindred spirits, just like her mom and I are!!!

We were going to do a photograhic "Day In The Life," but the day that we picked Clara got sick. So, we didn't get the day in the life, but we did get bath time. Enjoy!!
